meh... i have been run off my feet with work lately... so i haven't finished chapter the fourth. ah well. what are you gonna do.
i've had three nights in a row where i've been up past 12... mightn't seem late to some of you, but i need my sleep!!! so i am rather sleep-deprived at this point...
two little interesting things though...
interesting little thing one: i'm over the whole adam thing... made life too difficult. i mean, the entire grade found out about it! thanks john. that, and the fact that he's barring me at this point in time, which kinda tells me i have snowball's chance in hell, and it's better for my sanity to GET OVER IT.
interesting thing number two: basically, our choir was in this massive choir thing in st john's cathedral in brissie... and so there was our school, plus others, plus various people from various parishes... ok. first we had two thursday night rehearsals (soooo long) and then two performances yesterda. well anyways... i was in the last line of altos (go the altos!) who were right in front of the first line of basses... and so there were the guys from our school.. then there was this one random guy from churchie (anglican church of england grammer if you want details) just on the end there, almost right behind me. so on the first thursday, i didn't speak to him, on the second one i got his name (yeew go me.... pftt) and then i finally got talking to him on saturday. ok. i think he first kinda noticed me when i was getting bashed up (no, not really) by the guys from my school (they just tease me coz i'm short.. all in good fun though). i'm loud you see. anyways.. i have this really bad habit of tuning out randomly, and then just fixatiing on something without registering that i'm doing it. guess what the fixation was... more like who... so he gave me this wave which snapped me out of my tune-out etc etc etc. so anyways... before the performance that night, i finally got talking to him, and we really hit it off. so i moved over to where he was sitting, along with my friend steffie, and so we got talking... steffie shut up, and just let us talk after a while. hehehe. then during interval, he found me and we were just chatting for the entire time... doesn't sound too earth-shattering, does it. well, it is for me, seeing as i've never been able to talk to some random person, let alone a guy, non-stop for that length of time! maybe the caffeine and sugar in my system helped a little.. but ah well... so we were chatting, getting in people's way coz we were standing practically in the door way etc etc etc. haha. then my DEAR friends came over and decided to interject... "you're in claire!" "get his number!" etc etc etc... so then we talked basically all through the second half, coz it was boring the first time we saw it, and this was the third time we were seeing it, so it was REALLY boring. and then it finished (FINALLY) and everyone was badgering me to go get his number (like i wasn't going to anyways!) so i did blah blah blah and so the story ends.
so there you have it. claire's actually chatted up a guy!!! yeeewww! yeah me.
ok. little profile thingy that i like doing.
james: he's from churchie; in year 10, same as me, but a few months younger; does rowing and rugby; is extremely random (doesn't matter, so am i); has a crazy sense of humour that sorta matches mine; has really dark green eyes (at least i swear they were green); cute grin; wears his fringe long and gelled up (sounds crazy, but looks cute); and is just a generally nice guy who i clicked with. the only problem is that he lives in brissie, i live on the gold coast.. an hour away. noooo... but i've been wanting to have a social outing up to southbank in brissie... who knows... james might just "turn up"... hehehehehehehehehe
anyways... i have maths homework to do. cya!
